Friend is 100% convinced it’s possible through command prompt using the “netstat” command, but I really doubt any big social media company would make it that easy to get a users personal info. So my question is: Can you actually get someone’s IP through their social media account? June 14, 2021 at 1:04 pm #397416 Early-Winner9849 No, your friend is wrong. No social media site I know is peer to peer so it’s not possible. It’s possible with an ipgrabber or by compromising the social media site itself but that’s about it.
